Databases via USAFE E-Resource

EBSCOhost - All Databases - Several databases targeted to adults, teens and children on all topics and containing full text for thousands of publications and peer-reviewed journals. This collection offers information on nearly every area of academic study including military, general academic, terrorism, professional development and more.

Country Watch - Up-to-date information and news on the countries of the world including key data on the political, economic, and business worlds. Includes daily news and data.

Morningstar Investment Research Center - This resource has reports on nearly 7,000 stocks and 21,000 mutual funds. It can help you find undervalued stocks and narrow your mutual fund choices to a manageable few. The Investing Classroom offers 200 self-paced educational courses on stock and fund investing and portfolio building.

Online books on a host of topics – computer instruction, coaching sports, classics and many others. Books can be checked out and are automatically checked back in. Note: You must visit your library to set up an individual account.

Scholarship database will match your profile with grants, scholarships, and prizes. Online practice tests for the SAT, GRE, SMAT, TOEFEL and ASVAB. Career guidance also available. SIRS Discoverer - Interactive full-text database, including many graphics, for elemetary and middle-school students. Great for high school students with limited English language skills.

SIRS Knowlege Source - Especially good for high school and undergraduate students. Includes resources from SIRS Researcher (general information), SIRS Government Reporter (government document, directories and almanacs) and SIRS Reanaisance (arts and humanities).
