|Events and Programs :||Summer Reading Program: Each summer the library organizes a Summer Reading Program for children with special events, prizes and an end-of-program party. .
Only Storytime: every Monday at 10:30 am.

Tours: The Spangdahlem Library presents library tours and instructions to groups of children and adults. Please call the library and ask to set up a tour for your group.
|Collection and Services :||There are over 14,000 books in the Spangdahlem Library, including the latest bestsellers, CLEP study materials, and young adult and children’s collections. Books check out for three weeks.
We have 30 magazine and 1 newspaper subscriptions. You can now access magazines and newspapers online for free through Zinio and Worldcrunch.
The library has access to 16 online databases to help with research or finding information not available in the library. These databases provide free access to full-text articles, practice tests and health and wellness information, including Transparent Language online database.
In addition to books, the library has about 7500 DVDs, 6 Kindle Fire devices, 4 Kindle Touch devices, music CDs, books on CD and computer software, PS3 / PS4 / XBOX 360 and XBOX ONE games available for checkout. DVDs check out for 3 days (season for 2 weeks) and music CDs check out for three weeks.
There is a copy machine available, and we can fax anywhere in the world. The copier is $0.10 per copy and faxes are $1.00 per page.
The library also provides free Internet access via wireless or on 11 computers and 8 laptops for customers with kid(s). Customers can bring in their laptop and connect to the Internet via wireless or sign in at the front desk to use one of our computers. There is a 90 minute time limit on the computers (exceptions can be made at the discretion of the staff). If you are conducting research, or taking an online test, please arrange ahead of time with staff for additional computer time.
